Jade Elizabeth Taylor is a British-Canadian singer-songwriter releasing new and retrospective music — on all the streaming platforms. Her sound lives at the warm intersection of folk, jazz, blues, and Americana. Unhurried. Honest. Built to last.

Her album Shades of Jade was recorded across studios in California and Texas with an extraordinary ensemble of musicians — the first release in a steady monthly stream of new and archival work under her JedaVu brand, with more on the way: A Taste of Things to Come, a Chicago session with JT Nero, and a Canadian Content collection drawing on songs from her Vancouver years.

But the roots go deep. From running sound at the legendary Soft Rock Café in Vancouver and being there at the birth of the Vancouver Folk Festival, to the East Village in New York, where she was part of the Fast Folk Musical Cooperative at the legendary Speakeasy, Jade has been living at the heart of folk music for decades. Thirty-plus years in California only deepened that story — the Kate Wolf Music Festival, the Sisters Songwriting Academy, songwriting workshops at Esalen with the amazing Johnsmith, and co-founding the Santa Cruz Songwriting Collective.

Now based back in Greater Manchester, England, she's singing about all of it — the rooms she's stood in, the people she's made music with, the songs still waiting to be finished.
